NEXT MEETING: April 14, 2016

Helena Quilters Guild meetings and events, unless otherwise stated, are held at the Life Covenant Church at 800 North Hoback. Entry is through the front door of the church. Guild meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs Sunday school area. Seamers and Dreamers is an open cluster that meets upstairs at the Life Covenant Church on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, from 10:30 to 4:00. Everyone is invited to attend. Work on your own projects, be they hand or machine projects or use Guild material to work on “Quilts for Comfort”.

I received this in an email thought it should go to the guild for a olea or discussion. Maybe if you have something you could bring it to meeting.

Hi, Rene', First of all, I would like to thank the Helena Guild for their donation of charity quilts to the youth at Riverside Youth Correctional Facility last year. Each of the girls that have left with a quilt have been overjoyed and extremely thankful for them. I have 4 girls that will be leaving soon and I have only one small lap size quilt left. I'm wondering if you would send out a mass email and ask if anyone has any quilts that they would like to donate to these girls as they graduate and leave from Riverside, we would be very very grateful to receive them. I have one girl graduating from high school Thursday , one who did not think she could finish high school and in fact will graduate with a full state of Montana diploma! So excited for her and her future! I can certainly pick up quilts from anyone that might be willing to share! PLEASE give me a call 225-3636 (local call, cell phone). Or shoot me a text, or email me at this email address. Thank you all for your support! Sincerely, Jeanine Ford, 575 Tubbie Road, Helena
